Overview
Phase 4, randomised, open-label trial in Chronic Hepatitis B (CHB) comparing Telbivudine + peginterferon alfa-2a, Peginterferon alfa-2a monotherapy and Telbivudine monotherapy (3 arms). Primary endpoints: HBV DNA non-detectability at Week 52 and Superior antiviral efficacy of combination therapy versus peginterferon alfa-2a monotherapy. Started Sep 2006; status: terminated.
