Overview
Phase 3, randomised trial in coronary arteriosclerosis and cardiac ischemia comparing Custodiol cardioplegia with St Thomas cardioplegia (2 arms). Primary endpoint: Mean concentrations of interstitial lactate (peak lactate and lactate/pyruvate ratio) from start of cardioplegia to aortic unclamping. Started Aug 2009; status: completed.
