Phase 3 trial of icodextrin in chronic heart failure (CHF) and chronic kidney disease (CKD) (3 arms), sponsored by Martini Ziekenhuis. Primary endpoints: Reduction in NYHA classification of symptomatic congestive heart failure at 8 months after start of peritoneal dialysis therapy (2-exchange regimen vs standard care) and Reduction in NYHA classification of symptomatic congestive heart failure at 8 months after start of peritoneal dialysis therapy (1-night exchange regimen vs standard care).
