Canakinumab in hereditary periodic fever syndromes

Phase 3, randomised, double-blind trial of canakinumab in TNF receptor-associated periodic syndrome (TRAPS), hyperimmunoglobulin D syndrome (HIDS) and Familial Mediterranean fever (FMF) (3 arms), sponsored by Novartis. Primary endpoints: Proportion of participants with resolution of initial flare at time of randomization and absence of new flares and Percentage of participants who achieve Physician's Global Assessment of Disease Activity below 2 at Week 16.
