Safe discontinuation of antidepressants in adults with remitted depressive disorders

Phase 4, randomised, open-label trial of sertraline, venlafaxine, citalopram, amitriptyline, paroxetine and 3 more in major depressive disorder (MDD) (2 arms), sponsored by Università degli Studi di Verona. Primary endpoint: Failure to discontinue or antidepressant re-start within 16 weeks after discontinuation. Planned start Feb 2026; status: authorised.
