Overview
Phase 4, randomised, double-blind trial in hepatic encephalopathy (HE), Cirrhosis and Portal Hypertension (PH) comparing Rifaximin + lactulose with Placebo + lactulose (2 arms). Primary endpoint: Development of overt hepatic encephalopathy within 3 months after TIPS. Planned start Nov 2024; status: authorised.
