Phase 4, randomised, single-blind trial of esketamine, propofol and methohexital in major depressive disorder (MDD) and bipolar disorder (BD), sponsored by Medical University of Vienna. Primary endpoints: Change in Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD17) score over 8 ECT sessions and Mean recovery time over 8 ECT sessions. Planned start Jul 2024; status: authorised.
