Olanzapine-induced glucose dysregulation and rescue therapy study in healthy male volunteers

Phase 4, randomised, open-label trial of olanzapine, metformin, sitagliptin and exenatide in schizophrenia (4 arms), sponsored by The University of Auckland. Primary endpoint: Change in GLP-1 and glucagon area under the curve during oral glucose tolerance test. Planned start Jul 2011; status: not yet recruiting.
