Phase 3, randomised, double-blind trial in adhesive capsulitis (AC) and shoulder tendinopathy comparing Metformin with Placebo (2 arms). Primary endpoint: Proportion of participants with VAS pain score 2 or less out of 10 at 12 months. Started May 2017; status: recruiting.
