Overview
Phase 4, randomised, open-label trial in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) comparing Acarbose add-on arm with Sitagliptin add-on arm (2 arms). Primary endpoints: Mean amplitude of plasma glucose excursions and Proportion of participants achieving MAGE less than or equal to 3.9 mmol/L at 12 weeks. Planned start Mar 2019; status: not yet recruiting.
