Phase 4, randomised trial of dexmedetomidine (3 arms), sponsored by Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital. Primary endpoints: Incidence of adverse events in the circulatory and respiratory system requiring medical intervention (Part One) and Incidence of clinically significant circulatory and respiratory adverse events between medication and exit from recovery room (Part Two).
