Phase 3, randomised, double-blind trial in Alzheimer's disease (AD) and mixed dementia comparing Placebo plus standard care, Atomoxetine plus standard care and Immediate-release metformin plus standard care (3 arms). Primary endpoints: Safety and meaningful quality-of-life-related benefit over 18 months, Cognitive symptoms and 2 more. Started May 2026; status: recruiting.
