Overview
Phase 2, randomised, double-blind trial in mitochondrial encephalomyopathy lactic acidosis and stroke-like episodes (MELAS) comparing Sodium pyruvate with Placebo (lactose + NaCl) (2 arms). Primary endpoint: JMDRS section 1 & 2. Planned start Jul 2012; status: not yet recruiting.
