Overview
Phase 3, randomised, double-blind trial of aciclovir in ocular herpes simplex (4 arms), sponsored by National Eye Institute. Primary endpoints: Time to the first occurrence of stromal keratitis or iridocyclitis in the study eye at 12 months and Time to the first recurrence of any type of HSV eye disease in either eye at 12 months. Started Oct 1992; status: completed.
