Overview
Phase 2, randomised, double-blind trial of estradiol in atherosclerosis and vascular disease (2 arms), sponsored by National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute. Primary endpoints: Vascular inflammation assessed by MRI/MRA imaging of the carotid arteries at 7 months and Arterial compliance derived from carotid ultrasonography and blood pressure measurements at 7 months.
