Overview
Phase 2, randomised, double-blind trial of cimicifuga racemosa and Red clover extract in menopause and hot flashes (4 arms), sponsored by National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health. Primary endpoint: Reduction in frequency and intensity of vasomotor symptoms (hot flashes and night sweats) at 12 months. Started Apr 2003; status: completed.
