Phase 4, randomised, double-blind trial of valaciclovir in genital herpes (2 arms), sponsored by GSK. Primary endpoint: Mean Percent Days of Subclinical Shedding as Determined by Type-specific Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) Assay for HSV-2 at Day 60. Started Mar 2005; status: completed.
