Visudyne in Occult (VIO)

Phase 3, randomised, double-blind trial in age-related macular degeneration (AMD) comparing Visudyne with Placebo (2 arms). Primary endpoints: Proportion of patients who lose less than 15 letters (<3 lines) of best-corrected visual acuity at 24 months and Proportion of patients who lose fewer than 30 letters (<6 lines) of best-corrected visual acuity at 24 months.
