Famciclovir for reducing HSV-2 shedding

Phase 4, randomised, double-blind trial of famciclovir in genital herpes (2 arms), sponsored by Novartis. Primary endpoints: Reduction of HSV DNA PCR positive days in HSV-2 seropositive patients with a history of clinical genital herpes lesions and Reduction of HSV DNA PCR positive days in HSV-2 seropositive patients without a history of clinical genital herpes lesions.
