Overview
Phase 3, randomised, double-blind trial in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) comparing Tiotropium with Placebo (2 arms). Primary endpoint: Change in submaximal exercise tolerance (endurance time) during a constant work rate treadmill exercise test at 80% of maximum work capacity at 13 weeks. Started May 2001; status: completed.
