Phase 2, randomised, double-blind trial of mepolizumab in eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) (3 arms), sponsored by GSK. Primary endpoints: Reduction of eosinophils in the oesophagus at 8 weeks and Safety and tolerability of mepolizumab at 8 weeks. Started Dec 2005; status: completed.
