Overview
Phase 4, randomised, double-blind trial in respiratory distress syndrome (RDS) and Intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH) comparing Betamethasone with Placebo (2 arms). Primary endpoints: Survival without Respiratory Distress Syndrome and/or Severe Intraventricular Haemorrhage and Survival without neurologic, sensory or neuromotor impairment. Started May 2001; status: terminated.
