Overview
Phase 3, randomised, double-blind trial of aliskiren in essential hypertension (3 arms), sponsored by Novartis. Primary endpoints: Mean 24-hour ambulatory diastolic blood pressure change from baseline after a missed dose (Aliskiren vs Irbesartan) at 9 weeks and Mean 24-hour ambulatory diastolic blood pressure change from baseline after a missed dose (Ramipril vs Irbesartan) at 9 weeks.
