Phase 3, randomised, double-blind trial in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) comparing Januvia with Placebo (2 arms). Primary endpoints: Relative Increase in Meal-induced Total GLP-1 Secretion at 12 weeks and Restoration of the Insulinotropic Effect of GIP at 12 weeks. Started Feb 2007; status: completed.
