Phase 3, randomised, double-blind trial in diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) comparing Placebo with Tapentadol ER (2 arms). Primary endpoint: Change From Baseline in Average Pain Intensity on an 11-point Numerical Rating Scale (NRS) at 12 weeks. Started Apr 2007; status: completed.
