Phase 4, randomised, open-label trial of valaciclovir in genital herpes and human immunodeficiency virus infection (HIV) (2 arms), sponsored by University of Washington. Primary endpoints: Quantity of HIV-1 RNA in Plasma at 26 weeks and Genital HSV Shedding Rate at 4 weeks. Started Dec 2007; status: completed.
