Overview
Phase 4, randomised, double-blind trial in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and impaired glucose tolerance (IGT) comparing Placebo with Sitagliptin (2 arms). Primary endpoint: Improvement in beta-cell function measured by means of the insulinogenic index (ΔI30/ΔG30) at 3 months. Started May 2008; status: completed.
