Overview
Phase 4, randomised, double-blind trial of l-ornithine l-aspartate in hepatic encephalopathy (HE) (2 arms), sponsored by Centro Regional para el Estudio de las Enfermedades Digestivas. Primary endpoint: Improvement of at least one grade in mental state based on the West Haven Criteria at 72 hours. Started Nov 2009; status: completed.
