Overview
Phase 3, randomised, double-blind trial of sodium bicarbonate ringer's solution and acetylcysteine in acute kidney injury (AKI) (4 arms), sponsored by VA Office of Research & Development. Primary endpoint: Composite of Death, Need for Acute Dialysis, or Persistent Decline in Kidney Function at 90 days. Started Oct 2013; status: completed.
