Overview
Phase 2 trial of technetium Tc-99m sodium pertechnetate in thyroid cancer and head and neck cancer (HNC) (2 arms), sponsored by American Health Staffing Group. Primary endpoint: Efficacy of C-PERT vs G-PERT at 5 months. Status: withdrawn.

Who it enrols
Patients aged 18-79 with thyroid or head and neck cancer, adequate hematologic and biochemical parameters, and Karnofsky score 50-100. Excludes pregnant/nursing women, uncontrolled asthma, acute iritis, narrow angle glaucoma, and prior head/neck radiation.
