Overview
Randomised, double-blind trial of tranexamic acid in upper gastrointestinal bleeding (UGIB) (2 arms), sponsored by Shaare Zedek Medical Center. Primary endpoint: Prevention of rebleeding manifested as hematemesis, melena and drop in hemoglobin level by 2g% within 24 hours after therapeutic endoscopy. Status: unknown.
