Overview
Phase 3, randomised, open-label trial of deferiprone in beta thalassemia (2 arms), sponsored by Ain Shams University. Primary endpoint: Time and amount of transfused iron leading to Serum Ferritin >= 500 ng/ml, LPI > 0.2, or TSAT > 50% at 12 months. Status: unknown.
