Phase 2, randomised, triple-blind trial of dexmedetomidine in postoperative pain (3 arms), sponsored by Women's College Hospital. Primary endpoints: Duration of interscalene nerve block at 24 hours and Cumulative opioid consumption at 24 hours. Started May 2013; status: completed.
