Metformin Dose-Escalation in Diabetic Patients with Renal Failure

Phase 2, open-label, single-arm trial of liquid metformin (Aspargo Labs) in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), sponsored by CHU Amiens-Picardie. Primary endpoints: Percentage of patients in each category of renal function whose rate of erythrocyte metformin remain within the therapeutic range at Day 7 and Percentage of patients in stage 1 of chronic kidney disease (CKD) each category of renal function whose rate of erythrocyte metformin remain within the therapeutic range at Day 49.
