Phase 2, randomised, double-blind trial in type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) comparing Empagliflozin with Placebo (2 arms). Primary endpoints: Urinary excretion of 8-oxo-7,8-dihydro-2'-deoxyguanosine at 14 days and Urinary excretion of 8-oxo-7,8-dihydroguanosine at 14 days. Started Nov 2016; status: completed.
