Overview
Phase 4, randomised, double-blind trial in atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) and prediabetes comparing Metformin with Placebo (2 arms). Primary endpoint: Time to death, non-fatal myocardial infarction, stroke, hospitalization for unstable angina, or symptom-driven coronary revascularization at 4.5 years.
