Overview
Phase 1, randomised, double-blind trial of liquid metformin (Aspargo Labs) and Amigesic in hyperglycemia, surgical site infection (SSI) and inflammation (3 arms), sponsored by McMaster University. Primary endpoints: Feasibility: recruitment rate (percentage) at 1 year, Participants with hyperglycemia at 1 year and 1 more. Planned start Dec 2023; status: withdrawn.
