Overview
Phase 3, randomised trial of liquid metformin (Aspargo Labs) in type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1D) (2 arms), sponsored by Hellenic Institute for the Study of Sepsis. Primary endpoint: Change in GLP-1 (glucagon like peptide) and GIP (gastric inhibitory peptide) postprandial secretion at 4 months. Planned start Nov 2019; status: withdrawn.
