Overview
Phase 1, randomised, open-label trial of ampicillin + sulbactam, amoxicillin + clavulanate and clindamycin in surgical site infection (SSI) (2 arms), sponsored by UTHealth Houston. Primary endpoints: Evidence of infection as measured by presence of persistent swelling at 3 weeks, Evidence of infection as measured by presence of fever at 3 weeks and 3 more.
