Randomised, double-blind trial of liquid metformin (Aspargo Labs) in osteoarthritis (OA) (3 arms), sponsored by Assiut University. Primary endpoint: Effusion-synovitis volume on musculoskeletal ultrasound at 4 months. Planned start Aug 2024; status: not yet recruiting.
