Overview
Randomised, double-blind trial of cefazolin and metronidazole in surgical site infection (SSI) (2 arms), sponsored by General Authority for Teaching Hospitals and Institutes. Primary endpoint: Incidence of postoperative wound infections (incisional and organ/space SSIs) at 6 weeks. Planned start Oct 2024; status: not yet recruiting.
