Overview
Phase 3, randomised, double-blind trial in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) comparing Metformin with Placebo (2 arms). Primary endpoints: Forced expiratory volume in the first second at 3 years and Carbon monoxide diffusion test at 3 years. Planned start Sep 2025; status: not yet recruiting.
