Overview

Phase 4, randomised, double-blind trial in Cirrhosis, cirrhotic cardiomyopathy (CCM) and left ventricular diastolic dysfunction (LVDD) comparing Empagliflozin + Carvedilol with Carvedilol + Placebo (2 arms). Primary endpoint: Composite end point of decompensation event and/or death at 1 year. Started Apr 2026; status: recruiting.
