Overview
Randomised, open-label trial in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) comparing ARM A - Erdosteine treatment with ARM B - Standard of care (2 arms). Primary endpoints: Changes in transcriptomics of pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory cytokines at 4 weeks and Changes in transcriptomics of oxidative stress signaling pathways at 4 weeks. Planned start Sep 2026; status: not yet recruiting.
