Overview
Randomised, double-blind trial of semaglutide in chronic kidney disease (CKD) and metabolic dysfunction associated fatty liver disease (MAFLD) (2 arms), sponsored by Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences. Primary endpoint: Time to first occurrence of a composite primary outcome event (eGFR decline >=50%, ESRD, renal death, CV death) at 24 months. Planned start Feb 2026; status: not yet recruiting.
