Overview
Randomised, open-label trial of isoflurane in burn injury, muscle weakness and critical illness (2 arms), sponsored by Charles University. Primary endpoints: Change in skeletal muscle mass assessed by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) up to 24 weeks, Change in rectus femoris muscle thickness assessed by ultrasound at day 30 and 1 more. Planned start May 2026; status: not yet recruiting.
