Overview
Phase 2, randomised, double-blind trial of tauroursodeoxycholic acid and Qiju Dihuang Pill in diabetic macular edema (DME) (3 arms), sponsored by University of Alabama at Birmingham. Primary endpoints: Change from baseline in macrophage-like cell density at 3 months, Change from baseline in best-corrected visual acuity at 3 months and 2 more. Planned start Oct 2026; status: withdrawn.
