Overview
Randomised, double-blind trial of metformin 1% gel in Psoriasis vulgaris (PV) (2 arms), sponsored by Cairo University. Primary endpoints: Tissue levels of interleukin 17 at 8 weeks and Percent Psoriasis Area and Severity Index improvement at 8 weeks. Planned start Apr 2026; status: not yet recruiting.
