Overview
Randomised, open-label trial of ampicillin + sulbactam and amoxicillin + clavulanate in acute appendicitis (2 arms), sponsored by Ministry of Health and Population. Primary endpoints: Rate of Surgical Site Infection at 30 days, Rate of Intra-abdominal Abscess at 30 days and 1 more. Planned start May 2026; status: not yet recruiting.
