Overview
Randomised, open-label trial of azithromycin in rheumatic heart disease (RHD) and rheumatic fever (RF) (2 arms), sponsored by Ladoke Akintola University of Technology. Primary endpoints: Recurrence of acute rheumatic fever at 24 months and Progression of valvular cardiomyopathy at 24 months. Planned start Jan 2027; status: not yet recruiting.
